My experience in my own words.
From a very early childhood I always knew that my life would be one of many travels, whereby I experience different aspects of life. My motto was always, "Anything Is Possible." I was born in Finland, raised in Sweden during teenage years and left for UK at the age of 20. The world was my oyster and I was going to live life to the full. Being brought up in a Scandinavian society as a woman has a lot of benefits, but expectations of hard work, having a successful career and life are also very high. I wanted a slightly different road, a road of travel, which included cultural and life experiences. After some years of living and travelling in Europe and South America, after many ups and down on the road, I finally agreed to go back to what the "society" expected from me. I went back to education and reinvigorated myself into politics in UK. For many years my life was nothing but politics and personal drama. In politics I was known as the Fiery Finn, the tough and career minded woman. But after years in politics, inside, things were changing, I was changing, my world was changing, something was still missing. Who was I really? By now, I had seen the harder side of the world, both through my personal and work experiences: stress, anxiety, expectations, betrayal, divorce, money, power, self hatred and injustices of all kind. I needed closure of some past painful events, I needed a new chapter and finally find that path that was truly meant for me. With the support of great teachers, friends, my children and my husband, I finally started to accept myself, and understand what I wanted from my life, and what it can give me. I needed to fulfil my childhood dreams. I learnt, the power of self worth, compassion, forgiveness, faith, trust, love, oneness, and living everyday to full, cannot only change you but it can change the world all together. |

Associates and Partnerships
|
Niina works in partnership with other established wellness businesses and promotes local community participation. It is vital that we work with all three aspects; the body, the soul and the mind. If one part is out of balance, we are not healthy nor whole. Hence Niina works with Naturopaths, Nutritionists and other holistic practitioners and recommends clients to her associates when appropriate. Also, some workshops are in partnership with other companies. All associates are local and SSSpa only sells locally produced products.
Niina is a Life Coach; a trained REIKI Master and Teacher, a Mindfulness Trainer, NLP-Practisioner, Shamanic Healer and Holistic Practitioner. She has also been trained in; Balinese Massage, Ayurvedic Shirodhara and Meditation.
"I am very grateful for what life has thrown at me. I don’t regret any of it, as the lessons I have learnt are so important and they have all contributed one way or another to my love and passion of working with people, nature, charity and holistic therapy. I love Indonesia and South East Asia, so many cultures, teachings, indigenous tribes and so much history. Travelling across Asia and be trained and study with most amazing people; Shamen, Buddhist Monks, Hindu Priests, Holistic Doctors, Reiki Masters, Naturopaths, Animal/Environmental/ Human rights activist and my own students, has given me more than any school or political platform ever could. |
